Great news!
Details are a bit sketchy, but "a major education company" is planning to sponsor Nings for primary and secondary educators in a new plan announced by Ning today. The official Ning pricing plan is in place for paying customers, and another education announcement will happen sometime in the near future. I'm not sure what all of this will mean for us in the Global Education Collaborative Ning, but I'll be sure to keep you posted. Thank you all for your continued support and to those who participated in my educational/non-profit use of Ning survey; I've heard that it will be referenced in a Learning and Leading with Technology issue this summer.
