On The Same Day In March

Marilyn Singer wrote a children's book "On The Same Day In March" that describes the weather and climate for countries around the world. I would like to give elementary classrooms an opportunity to compare the climate and weather in your area with others around the world. You can also add pictures and tell a little about your area.

I have created a wiki also titled On The Same Day In March for sharing information.

I have contacted Marilyn Singer for permission to use her book.

We have chosen March 17 as our day to compare weather. This could be done through pictures on the wiki site, email, or Skype.

Any interest???

  • Did you get many responses? I love this idea. I have a 5th grade classroom (in Raleigh, NC, USA) that is studying weather right now. They may be able to get this together by the 17th if we understand your expectations in greater detail and the value of participating. You can email me at jmunoz@magellancharter.org
    Thanks.
