I wanted to tell you about the project I am working on. It is coming close to launch and we are chomping at the bit to get it out there. We are also asking for you help to help us test it!
The idea came about when our co-founder, Dan Solo, formally a Clinical Educator with the Ambulance Service of NSW, realised the limitations of the conventional education system for both educators and learners. Looking for a way to continue his career in education and allowing him to teach what and how he wanted ... nerdi was born.
nerdi is an online marketplace for educators and learners to connect, teach, learn and buy and sell educational content.
nerdi will provide a place for anyone, anywhere, to teach anything they are passionate about. Educators can sell their content at any price they want or they can give it away. It's extremely easy to upload your lessons, organise your courses. It's free and it's your space.
nerdi also offers an easy to use, super flexible platform for learning about what you want to learn about, at your own pace and in your own time. Full social media integration allows you to update your friends and followers and connect with the global education community.
