Dear All, Your all welcome to another of my initiatives about Professional Development i.e Online PD Initiative. This is all about making professional development easily accessible to educators. Being a Teacher as well as a Trainer for good 12 Years with one of the most prestigious organizations in the country i.e Beaconhouse School System, I have felt Teachers have a lot to do and expecting them to attend face to face training's, traveling to outstation venues, paying heavy fees for courses, working on assignments that are time bound etc is not fair at times. Even the administration has to go through a lot of hassle to arrange venues for training's, manage lunches and tea, stationary costs go high, manage substitutions etc
So why not offer Online Professional Development Opportunities to educators (teachers, school heads, coordinators, trainers etc) which is self paced, accessible 24/7, are not time bound, no traveling concerns, offers opportunity to collaborate beyond classrooms boundaries.
