The ECLIL European project has created an open games engine for language teachers (any language). It allows teachers to make a lesson, specific game for their students in a few minutes. You can even make specific games for a single student, group or all of a class. You can then change or add another game in minutes for the next lesson.
The games engine is available at: http://tinyurl.com/8prnsrf with full instructions and video guides.
As this resource is restricted to genuine educators please ensure that you register with your full name and school details, as we can only adm
it genuine educators.

that's a really interesting concept -- have there been any barriers in terms of teachers getting the hang of creating the games? I'm wondering how you automate the game mechanics!
The guides and videos we have provided appear to have overcome the barriers, as far as we can see.
Game mechanics, you would have to ask the ICT team. As far as I understand, the games are database reliant, but don't quote me please.
