Full Session Description (as long as you would like): In an ever increasingly wired and networked world, skills and competence acquisition such as communication, collaboration and critical thinking is gradually turning into a compass for curriculum designers. This has also led to necessary adaptations in methodology in order to reflect changes in the real world and meet the challenges arising in the field of international cooperation between schools which aspire to exchange ideas, share experience and promote a spirit of tolerance and respect to the cultural diversity of our planet.
Our presentation will focus on various projects done by K6-10 (11-15 years old learners) using learning technology such as Skype in the classroom , blogs, run by students, participation in projects such as eTwinning. Tips and hints will be given on practical aspects such as establishing communication and dealing with difficulties. We will also discuss the perspectives for global cooperation.
