This session will discuss aspects of education from Finland with implications for policy and practice in other countries.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

I am an American university professor and company president.  During the week of this conference, I will be leading a group of faculty and administrators to observe in schools, university education classes, and attend presentations at the Finnish National Board of Education. For this session,  I will share my insights based on past research and observations made during the week into the Finnish education system, curriculum, the reasons behind the success on the PISA  exam.  Implications for education practice and policy in other countries will be discussed.  I invite you to join me for this session live from Finland!
