Full Session Description (as long as you would like): OneNote is the ultimate tool allowing you and your students to create digital notebooks where you can work together to create personalized learning materials and resources containing many types of media. The features of OneNote support different learning styles and it is an ideal collaborative tool for anytime, anywhere learning.
Using OneNote in the classroom helps educators fully harness the power of Global Citizenship. It promotes understanding of diversity, social justice, responsibility, and community engagement. Educators can create a collaborative project in OneNote that will help students understand that we can all learn from other races and cultures and that we must network with others efficiently to be successful in creating world peace and effecting change.
In this session, participants will learn how to use OneNote to create a project which allows students anywhere in the world to work together to research a current topic, write a plan for change and report results all in one place.
Objectives
- Discuss and gather ideas about how participants would use OneNote for global citizenship projects in their classrooms.
- Basic understanding of how to use OneNote as a collaborative tool.

It's not clear to me how this presentation ties into the concept of global citizenship and our conference mission. Can you add additional language to make this clear? Remember, we're not a conference that's focused exclusively on technology!
