Full Session Description (as long as you would like): This session examines the benefits of using Learning Management Systems and Cloud-based Technologies to engage students in a global studies curriculum that utilizes international travel as the capstone component. The case study for this presentation is a course created and administered during the years 2010-2014. This presentation will examine how to create such a curriculum, what technologies could be used to foster global awareness and development, and how to add a capstone international travel component to the experience. All information is geared toward rural communities which have limited exposure to diversity and international themes.
