July 1, 2009-July 25, 2009; The Youth Institute of Science & Technology-Agogo, Ghana will host their 2nd Annual University Bound Program. Students will spend 4 weeks engaged in a rigourous math, science, and technology summer residential program at Garden City University College located in Kenyase, Ghana (Kumasi-Ghana). Special Thank you to the following Educators for Joining the Team: Lauren Miller-Elementary Teacher of Atlanta Public Schools, Luqman Abdur Rahman-High School Teacher of Atlanta Public Schools, Xylecia Taylor-Elementary School Teacher of Atlanta Public Schools, Maura DiPrete-High School Biology Teacher of Maine Melisaa James of University of Massachusetts Monica Killens of Mount Holyoke College-Massachusetts Educators will provide professional development training for teachers during the program as well work with our youth to plan the Ghana Go Green Youth Science Forum.
