In this session you will learn about the philosophical and psychological foundations of SelfDesign, its "ancestors" and its current expressions in the world. The key perception at the heart of SelfDesign is that humans of every age can lead their own learning effectively and meaningfully and that when humans are invited to do so, their consciousness evolves so that they increasingly experience themselves as intimately related to all others who live in our global village.
We will explore SelfDesign in terms of human development, specific educational applications, and policy implications.
