In case you missed it, the call for proposals for our second annual Global Education Conference is now open! Steve Hargadon and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to repeat last year's inaugural online event which featured over 400 sessions given by educators and organizations around the clock for five days. This year's conference will take place November 14 through November 18. We have a different format for submitting proposals this year, and it's your responsibility to follow directions step by step. Don't forget to add a tag to the tag field of your proposal enabling your submission can be found in searches. Use the official tags 2011Teachers, 2011Students, 2011Curricular, or 2011Policy. Check out submitted proposals by clicking the aforementioned tags. Make sure to "like" or give feedback to GEC colleagues by adding a comment or two. The deadline for submissions is October 15 ; you are welcome to edit your proposal at any time until then. Attached is a press release. Finally, make sure to join our various conference groups for the latest updates:
