Serious games

I love using serious games with my students, and am always on the lookout for great new ones. Here are a few that I think are great: Ayiti the Cost of Life - take the role of a Haitian family struggling to get out of poverty Stop Disasters Game - Kind of a SimCityish approach to thinking about how communities can prepare for various kinds of disasters. Against All Odds - Learn about human rights and refugee issues I am aware of some other games but these are a few of the best. Any out there that you think are fantastic?

  • I like the looks of http://www.virtualpeace.org/demovid.php but I have yet to have any reason to use it in any academic setting. I'm in the process of obtaining my masters degree and my research is focusing on games in education. Thanks for the links....
