Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

For nearly 25 years, IEARN-USA staff has eschewed zero-sum fundraising, and instead worked with partners, foundation, schools and government agencies to create a culture of trust and respect, where “Side-by-Side” fundraising results in resources that are shared to support mutually beneficial projects and programs. iEARN-USA is privileged to collaborate with hundreds of partners in the past two decades to raise more than $30 million to support iEARN activities in 130 countries.

Attend this session to learn how iEARN-USA works to identify and secure funds for its operations and programs, and why we believe that “Side-by-Side” fundraising is an excellent investment for iEARN coordinators and participants seeking to sustain and expand their programs and projects. The session will cover topics such as proposal-writing and budgeting, as well as examples of how iEARN-USA has begun to use social media to amplify its traditional off-line fundraising campaigns.
