OpenMinds is an open, adaptive platform for practice-based learning that allows teachers to choose or upload content, and instantly renders the content into engaging learning apps. Students interact with the apps to master skills such as vocabulary, spelling, mathematics and more. All interactions are tracked & reported at a granular level, and the data is used to optimize learning efficiency based on many parameters: number of correct/incorrect responses, time to respond, correlation with other items and much more.
Root-1 has partnered with Singapore-based LittleLives to bring this award-winning ecosystem of apps and a platform to primary school children in Singapore. LittleLives added content specifically tailored to the Singapore primary curriculum, and developed a suite of apps using OpenMinds' Developer APIs.
The session will give attendees an overview of the platform, OpenMinds, and demo how easy it is to choose or upload specific content to instantly customize engaging learning apps, and to see relevant progress reports and trends. We will also discuss the Singapore experience and results to date.
