Is there anyone using the Sony PSP and its incredible multimedia and online abilities in the classroom? I was recently able to use my Skype account with my PSP and am really excited about the possibilities that exist between two classrooms that are using this great and inexpensive learning game tool.
See some attached photos of our 4th and 5th graders using the PSP's in the classroom.
It is very cool. We have a very cool math program called SUMS that we use on them. We also have audio books that we've put on them as well. Sometimes rather than reading outloud to the studnents we have them listen to the books and follow along in the novels they have. We also have a wireless network in the building and the students can get on the Internet and do research etc. I've created a website that goes along with a very cool tech/science/math/social studies project we're doing as well. The URL is www.brownsburg.k12.in.us/psp . Take a look.
