How to embrace the tectonic shifts we're witnessing in the educational sector?

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

The World Wide Web has completely revolutionized the lifestyles of 1/3 of the world population. Unfortunately, learning has remained pretty much unchanged despite the new technologies available. Until now: The EdTech boom we are witnessing today can be described as a real knowledge revolution.

The changes coming to the Educational sector will have a huge impact on the way we learn. Education has consisted of rote memorization and standardized tests for far too long, and it has proven inefficient. How can we ensure that these new technologies bring the creative change we crave to see? How can we empower the next generation with a learning environment powerful enough to succeed in tackling the world's most pressing issues? And even mor importantly, how will the remaining 2/3 that are about to join the online conversation benefit and contribute in a virtuous loop of collaborative knowledge-gathering?

These and other questions I'm very excited to brainstorm with all of you!
