Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Global Buddy's mission is to connect schools around the world to promote cultural understanding and global friendships. Global Buddy faced two main obstacles when it started: time zones that were tough to align, and the fear that connections would be awkward. We will be talking about the strategies and techniques we used to solve these problems or, at least, how we made them less of an obstacle. Additionally, we will be talking about the value of global education, especially for high schoolers and how to keep it exciting and interesting for them.
