After six years of IB International teaching experience, I have found a passion in the facilitation of students taking action. This passion has allowed me to support grade five students to take sustainable action and share this action using TEDx as a global platform.
I plan on presenting two conferences with one of my colleagues; one of these will be focused on implementing Action and Service Learning in your curriculum using a Phase Document (www.helptakeaction.com).
The second conference will be an extension of the action, in having students and youth share their action, using TEDx as a global platform. The second conference focuses on how teachers, schools, and communities can organize their own TEDx event.
We have created an eBook and complementary website to support TEDx organizers in this process. This eBook acts as a comprehensive guide to help you as you take the journey through organizing your own TEDx event.
The eBook serves as a conduit to a complementary website which includes video tutorials, editable resources, slide show inspirations, how-to guides, templates, examples, posters, web links, and tips & tricks.
This an extensive compilation of all the resources anyone would need to organize their own TEDx event. This eBook and the supplementary resources are FREE and given in the spirit of Ideas Worth Sharing.
