Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

“What does it take to make our education effective?”

We often ask this question the moment we stepped outside our classrooms because inevitable global challenges are facing us and those global challenges call for action-- human action-- and we can let our students join the movement!

The iCareProject is a movement that calls for (1) global awareness and (2) global competence inside the classroom.

These two factors are students’ first steps in taking global action.

Now, the challenge for us, as educators, is the formation of these important attitudes inside the classroom.

“How are we going to address these?”

In this webinar, we are going to tackle about different teaching styles, trends,  and techniques where we can promote and establish global awareness and competence inside our classrooms.

In this way, we can challenge our students to use their skills and knowledge in response to the needs of the global community.

I need to see more language in this proposal around global aspects. Please edit and elaborate on approaches to teaching global history content.

    Thanks,

I still don't see enough language that ties to our mission. We're not an ed tech conference. There needs to be more language in this proposal that focuses on the pedagogy related to teaching history from a global perspective.
