Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

All students learn in different ways and teachers know this from experience. As kids grow, they are faced with the the developmental uniqueness of the different age groups, which is why they need to be knowledgeable about their students, what they teach, and demonstrate effective instruction. Through motivation and continuous professional development, teachers need to use strategies to meet each child where they are when they enter class and move them forward as far as possible on their educational path. This set of strategies is differentiated instruction, which has been heralded as the pedagogical strategy out there. This session will outline differentiated instruction as solid pedagogical strategy for maintaining an inclusive classroom, despite students’ differences. Emphasis will be placed on our ability to differentiate instruction with the help of technology and free tools for teachers.

    Joelle,
I believe you are looking to submit and event for Global Collaboration Day: http://www.globalcollaborationday.org/. This is a separate event from our main November conference.

You have submitted a proposal for our November event, and for-profits need to be a sponsor in order to present at it.

If you are intending to host an event for Global Collaboration Day, please go to that site and follow the directions for hosts: http://www.globalcollaborationday.org/

    Thanks!

      Joelle,

Have you spoken to Steve Hargadon yet about sponsorship? Once that's taken care we can process this proposal. Keep in mind that sessions need to have a global perspective. See our mission statement for more information on the goals of this conference.

      Thanks,

      Lucy

      • Hi Lucy,

I emailed Steve a week ago but haven't heard back. We want to be a sponsor but we had a question about the difference between 2 sponsorship levels. I'm waiting to hear back from him, unless you can help?

        Thank you,

        Joelle
