Super School University: The Cabo Verde Tenth Island Project
We want to work with our worlds most talented teachers and students.
Our team is working hard to get ready to set "The Cabo Verde Tenth Island Project" in motion. Students and teachers from around the world will be collaborating to build an island from the ground up. This will be our own virtual island. What would it take to build a perfect island nation that could set an example for the entire world? How can we get fresh water from sea water? What does it take protect our earth and each other? What do we have to do as a people to get along with each other without crime and wars? Some of the world most gifted students will be looking for answers to these questions. We have designed a suite of student and teacher productivity tools for the iPhone, iPad, iTouch, Mac and PC computers to help us complete our goals and objects. We are using special 3D printers to create scale models of the islands that we are working on. Most of our research will be based on the real island of Santa Luzia, Cabo Verde. This island in uninhabited and it is perfect for our STEM experiments. On April 15, 2011, Bob Barboza will travel to the Cabo Verde Islands to talk with educators, business leaders and the people of Cabo Verde. Our first goal is to collaborate with the Cabo Verde educators and students.
Our second goal is to build 9 Kids Talk Radio stations on nine of the Cabo Verde Island. We will work with the University of Cabo Verde to accomplish this goal.
