Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum):

In this session you will introduced to the 'The Digital Citizenship Project' - a crowdsourced set of teaching resources being developed by educators from around New Zealand. Claire Amos (Director of e-learning, Epsom Girls Grammar School) kicked off the project in June and since then NetSafe, Creative Commons NZ, National Library New Zealand and NEAL NZ along with 75 NZ educators have been sharing their expertise and energy. The project has evolved into three 10 module courses (Primary, Intermediate and Secondary) being developed on WikiEducator. This is an Open Education Resource that anyone is welcome to use, adapt and contribute to.

Claire will share experiences and lessons learned in relation to the power of crowdsourcing and collaborative development of open education resources.
