Short Session Description (one line): The objective of this session is to introduce the Inter American Teacher Education Network (ITEN), an initiative of the Organization of American States that aims to promote collaboration among teachers and policymakers in the region. During the session, free practical tools and activities for the teaching profession will be presented to all participants.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like): The objective of this session is to introduce free tools and activities that promote collaboration among teachers and policymakers.
The Inter-American Teacher Education Network (ITEN) offers free virtual tools and in-person activities for teachers and representatives of Ministries of Education of the Americas. Our mission is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education in the Americas by promoting knowledge exchange, capacity building and technical assistance. During the past years, ITEN has reached over 30,000 teachers through its activities, helping them to raise the quality of their teaching to more than 532,000 students.
