The topic of this presentation are the different language strategies of pupils/students/adults how they guess the meanings of unknown words (from their language or from foreign language) and how you can work with this as a language teacher when handling different students (age, mother language, ...).

Language is the one of the most important ways you get connect with other people. In education, the language is very important but what if not everybody does understand the words the same way as you do? How to communicate? The topic of this presentation are the different language strategies of pupils/students/adults how they guess the meanings of unknown words (from their language or from foreign language) and how you can work with this as a language teacher when handling different students (age, mother language, ...). I would like to inform you about my results which I have got from my surveys and would like to discuss with you your experience and learn from it as well.
