Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Technological advances have afforded students the opportunity to collaborate with their global peers on meaningful projects, and to appreciate cultural differences. In this session educators will share in the journey of fifth graders in San Diego California as they collaborate on a design project with students in Stockholm Sweden, learning about scientific principles and their common humanity. In this presentation educators will be given practical tools to provide their students with meaningful global experiences that will enrich the educational environment.
