School or Organization Name:

Co-Presenter Name(s):

Area of the World from Which You Will Present: Sweden

Language in Which You Will Present: 20-30 minutes

Target Audience(s): Teachers, Students.

Short Session Description (one line):

We interact with people everyday, and unbeknownst to you, you may "lead" people to places they have never thought about.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

Leadership takes many shapes and forms. When we think Leaders role in the classroom, in society in general, we picture leaders that have a huge impact. The likes of politicians and celebrities, or people who are in the cutting edge of their field. We forget the leadership role that comes with the role as a teacher. We forget the interactions between teachers and students. Interactions that for the teachers may not have an amazing significance, but for the student in question it can have an important impact.

In this presentation I would like to highlight the importance of the quiet leaders that we meet both inside and outside our classrooms.
