Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
5 ways to bring in revenue
1.) Athletics - Concession stand partnerships with brand that can be integrated and add value to the stadium experience; monetizing your ticket programs by bringing them in-house, creating large scale partnerships by introducing new inventory and creating new athletic events.
2.) Online advertising - how online advertising works, why school districts have been shooting themselves in the foot, and why this should be the first program you start.
3.) Licensing and Media Rights: contract negotiation review on who is making money off of your brand, explaining the common law trademark agreement school districts overlook, and how to get your teams on national television without being nationally-recognized.
4.) Communications - how to make money off all communication newsletters, emails, etc. with parents and employees.
5.) Stadium Naming Rights - Don't be scared of large naming rights deals and how to avoid pitfalls like not having an end date to your naming rights agreement. Why naming rights are "leased" not sold.

Okay, my next question is whether or not you've looked over our mission statement? Take a look: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/notes/The_GEC_Mission_Stat.... We're focused on global collaboration, building global competency in students, and increasing educational access for all. This isn't a general education conference.
If you'd like to revise your presentation, feel free to do so and I'd be happy to look at it again.
Thanks,
Lucy
I was going to give the presentation on my role as senior manager public relations, sales, and marketing for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Florida.
I also own a consulting firm but will not be representing or referencing my K2MBA group.
I've spoken at the council for great city schools, national school board members conference and national athletic directors association conference on similar topics but this would be a new information-only session on what I've seen that works and what does not.
