Short Session Description (one line):
Consider the ways through which pre-service English teachers who belong to any primary school become more proficient regarding design of materials and technological skills issues.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
The main goal of this project is to update the ELT Virtual Course through the implementation of a didactic learning unit that comprises two modules to support the development of the didactic and technological competences of future English teachers. Moreover, it is expected to complement the pedagogical experience of the already mentioned teachers in primary school in such a way that it becomes more didactic and effective when facing contemporary teaching and learning processes.
Besides, the didactic learning unit helps english teachers to improve their performance and the way they address primary english students. This is a way to respond to the challenges that appear around the world as for the presence of technology in education and the design of materials that really support students needs in any educational setting. That is why this didactic unit can be adapted to a different english teaching context.
