Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

This presentation aims to introduce “O3: Our Family, Our Neighborhood, Our World” project that aims to create a global platform that engages youth to discover about themselves, their culture, their families and the issues that impact their families, their neighborhoods and the world, which leads to increased learning and leadership skills among educators and youth. The presentation will also highlight approaches used to build collaboration among educators and ways to showcase youth digital and performing arts projects in local and international forums.

The Punjab region on both sides of the border in India and Pakistan has seen considerable unrest, political tension, and violence for the past many generations. O3 project is designed to build on the existing capacities of educators and youth to engage local art forms as modalities for learning about shared history and current social issues, build platforms for dialogue and exchange between India and Pakistan, and to plant seeds for a sustainable and peaceful future. The learning outcomes and skills developed in youth and educators through different project based activities will also be discussed during the session.

This project runs in partnership with American India Foundation, iEARN Pakistan and United States
