Short Session Description: In a context where national educational systems are internationally assessed and ranked (PISA or PIRLS), it has become a priority for educators / teachers to collaborate, exchange views and best practices in order to impact student achievement. After seven years of implementation, the Transatlantic Educators Dialogue initiated by the European Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign resorts to Moddle, Blackboard Collaborate and other collaborative tools are means to open a diplomatic space to transcend geographic boundaries and welcome anyone interested in educational challenges to exchange viewpoints and compare policies.
