Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
How do we bring 21st Century skills into our schools? How do we involve not just students but also administrators in collaborative experiences that broaden the scope of our reach and bring a world of experience and excitement into our schools? Through the use of cloud-based collaboration, of course! During this session the presenter describes how not only teachers, but also administrators use cloud-based computing to create collaborative activities that enhance learning and eliminate paper work. Through cloud-based computing teachers and students create documents that can be shared and edited in real time by a large network of users, getting rid of the classroom walls and bringing collaboration to a level that motivates everyone to work and excel. Global collaboration at its best happens when peers from around the world create and work together on projects that bring pride and a sense of accomplishment to our students and teachers.

Hi Derek -
Can you elaborate in your proposal on how your ideas relate to global collaboration? Just want to make sure you're aware that this conference is not focused on technology exclusively. Take a look at the strands and submissions page to get an idea of what we're looking for. Thanks for submitting!
Derek,
It's still unclear to me that your presentation has implications for connecting classrooms. It seems focused on a tool.
Please take a look at our mission statement. This is not a technology conference and you may want to browse other session proposals to get an idea of what we are looking for. Or, you may want to save this presentation for a Learning 2.0 conference that Steve Hargadon is going to put on early next year.
Thanks,
Lucy
