Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
We all appreciate the wonderful possibilities web 2.0.offers to educators –or we wouldn’t be attending the Global Education Conference!
Connecting with like-minded teachers from around the globe, seeing our students' eyes flash with excitement at the prospect of getting to collaborate and connect with students from places they have only heard of, working on global projects on every subject imaginable, being involved in the process of life-long learning and self-development are just a few of the benefits.
At Winners Education we have embraced and gradually incorporated technology through our “Window to the World” project. It happens in ways that, a few years ago, we never thought would fit in the exam oriented curriculum of the Greek Language classroom.
Is this a path solely for the tech-savvy?
How can school leaders encourage their team to be involved?
Are results measurable?
What are the students’ reactions?
“Window to the World” will answer all the above plus reveal the added benefit my PLN and I discovered this summer!

As the day of the presentation approaches and the plans are finalised, I find myself realising the immense scope and self-development opportunities of this Conference! Looking forward to attending a lot of the presentations!
Yes, Effie, you said it. The immense scope and self development opportunities induced me to keep awake until 00:30 hours to attend the Keynote and the first presentation by Jeff Hoffart. Thereafter, my concerned wife wouldn't let me as it was past midnight.. But I must admit, the two presentations were awesome.
Effie, congrats. You do us all proud.
Thank you Sebastian. Our group has taught me so much! Looking forward to seeing you at the conference!
I shall be there to applaud you on.. Love, laughter, Sebastian

Is Winners Education a for profit company?
