  I was just overwhelmed with all the work going back to school, sorry for the delay in replying.
  
  This is fantastic that you are willing to collaborate.
  
  I was thinking that we could Skype and get our students to discuss and debate current events or other US political topics, historical or more contemporary.
  
  Would that work?
  
  For instance, we could have our students ask questions to each other about immigration policies, bombing ISIS, and other topics as such.

Hi Kader,

One suggestion is that you take a look at iEARN (International Education and Resource Network) - http://us.iearn.org . They have several hundred projects underway in their global network. For Example, our organization is working with them on a girls' education project in which classes worldwide view the film "Girl Rising" about nine girls in nine countries who face obstacles to getting an education and then discuss the issues raised in the 9 segments. We are providing copies of the film free of charge to participating teachers. A description of the project is at: http://collaborate.iearn.org/space-2/group-315
