Short Session Description (one line): Teens today need different skills to succeed than could be imagined even ten years ago. The free Youth Travel Blogging Mentorship Program offers creative teens an opportunity to build skills and learn the ins and outs of creating and making a living by becoming a professional blogger.

Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum): Teens today face challenges that their parents and grandparents could never imagine.  There are no clear career paths for them, because the way we work and live is constantly changing and evolving.  This has also created opportunities, and a lifestyle, that didn't exist a decade ago.  Now, more than ever, teens can truly live their dreams.  They can create the life they want.  We want to help teenss see these opportunities - and provide them with the skills, knowledge, and support to fully take advantage of them.

Introducing the Wandering Educators Youth Travel Blogging Mentorship Program, for teens who have both a natural curiosity about the world, and a passion for expressing themselves through words, photos, videos, and conversations.

The Wandering Educators Youth Travel Blogging Mentorship Program is an on-going, free, multi-term online class and mentoring program for students ages 14-18.

We offer this program as a way to give back – and, it’s the best thing we’ve ever done. We’ve seen the need for a sea-change in the way that people prepare themselves for their future and work lives. In this class, we teach students how to take their passion for writing, their curiosity about the world, and the foundational business tools of using the internet, to build an online portfolio and move forward in the direction of their dreams.

In this session, we'll discuss how we:

* utilize technology to connect and engage teens all over the world
* teach useful skills for succeeding in the global economy
* promote conversations about intercultural learning and ethnorelativism
* collaborate on global conversations and projects, designed to create true global citizens
* foster lifelong networking opportunities for gifted and interested teens from around the world

You will learn how your globally interested, creative teens can participate in the Youth Travel Blogging Mentorship Program.
