An Agriculturist by profession; carried out Extension work under NCA in Torit District in 1983-June 1986; joined SPLM/A and commissioned officer in November the same year. Engaged in military operations in Eastern Equatoria before being redeployed as Coordinator of Agriculture with SRRA, SPLM's humanitarian wing, in 1989; then Chief Coordinator for Agriculture for all the liberated areas from 1992 - 1999. Worked for a number of NGOs including Concern WW, Pact's peace building programs. Undertook consultancy work with UNHABITAT 2010. Joined SPLM National Secretariat as deputy secretary for external relations from November 2011 to the pr4esent.
