Ayodele Harrison is currently an Upper School Mathematics Educator and Instructional Coach with more than 12 years of teaching experience. He earned a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Howard University and University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He has taught math in public, charter, independent and international school settings. From Oakland, California to Johannesburg, South Africa, he continues to progressively engage diverse student, faculty and administrative populations facing various challenges. He has led and participated in several national and international curriculum conference workshops, served as the Mathematics Department Chair, and developed and facilitated STEM service learning partnerships. Additionally, he created academic and social transition programs for students and families new to independent schools, as well as coached varsity football and basketball. I'd like to broaden my network of global educators, share best practices in education (especially mathematics).
