Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

Since leaving full-time work in schools just over 6 years ago (latterly as head of an IB school), I've been working on global education - with IB, with other organisations and publishers, writing ("Educating for global citizenship - a practical guide for schools" published by International Baccalaureate in 2009), and starting the International Global Citizen's Award - a grassroots programme for schools to encourage and recognise development of young people as global citizens. Want to connect with educators around the world - it's important to global( citizenship) education to develop on a global front.
