I have been involved in globalizing lessons and creating opportunities for classrooms at my school to connect to the world through technology. I feel this organization will help me further these endeavors through the connections I make.
Global education projects or initiatives in which you are involved (if applicable):
Coordinator for Cultural Correspondent program through the NC Center for International Understanding; presenting to TEA Fellows and Appalachian State University classes on connecting globally; signed up to participate in Project Wet with schools in China; the global education resource person for my school and have extended within my county as well through presentations at county institutes; my school is the Global Schools Network anchor school
