Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:
Christy is a native of Austin, Texas where she graduated from the University of Texas in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and in English. Upon graduation, she moved to Missouri, near her grandparents, and earned her Masters of Education in Literacy Education from the University of Missouri in December 2007. In December 2010, she completed her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Technology at the University of Missouri. Additionally, Christy taught for four years at Hallsville High School in Hallsville, MO as an English and Creative Writing teacher. She also coached middle school track and cross-country for three years at Hallsville. During her years at Hallsville, she served on the Technology Committee and earned eMINTS certification. In July 2010, she transplanted to Fatima where she began work as the Technology Coordinator. Besides assisting with Fatima’s educational technology needs, Christy is an avid traveler, runner, biker, swimmer, hiker, and extreme sports fan. She also enjoys dabbling in art, restoration, reading, writing, and attending Broadway plays. Currently, Christy is enjoying in Wardsville, MO and improving Fatima’s educational technology assets in the future years.
