Hello Dave Clift
My name is Greg Reiva and I am a member of the Global Education Network. I teach physical science at the high school level at Streamwood High School in Streamwood Illinois
I am developing new curriculum initiatives that are focusing upon soil science and the study of both physical and chemical characteristics of growing mediums. It is a curriculum designed to provide students with an inquiry-based approach to learning.
I am looking for international partners that would like to work with my students and share experimental data, scientific measurements of local soil conditions and elaborate cooperatively on new ideas that take advantage of students' understanding to develop solutions to environmental challenges we face as a society.
It sounds out-there but it is the new way of learning in the 21st century and I need help connecting my students with students abroad internationally to provide a global context to science education.
