Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:
I am currently an Assistant English Teacher in Japan. I have been teaching in Japan for two years. The passion that some of these kids exude for learning English and education is amazing.

My name is Heather Weisse Walsh and I am the Manager of Educational Services for MAGPI, a non-profit research and education network managed by The University of Pennsylvania in the United States. I am hoping that you can assist me with an upcoming program.
On March 5, 2010, MAGPI is sponsoring a “Culture Convergence: Japan” interactive videoconference from 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM EST. We are hoping to have a brief series of presentations about Japanese Culture and then an informal question/answer discussion session between participants. Would a student group from Aoyama Gakuin University be interested in participating? We’d be looking for a 10-12 minute presentation on anything related to Japanese Culture. On our end, we’ll have 5-6 high schools participating, as well as presentations from 2 or 3 other organizations.
All you need to participate is H.323 videoconferencing gear. We would really love to have your students participate! Please let me know if you’re interested.
Best,
Heather
