Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

Harnessing technology for learning is the cornerstone of Delna’s career in the education sector. Starting off as a classroom English teacher in a small industrial town in rural France, she delighted her students with grammar lessons based on music videos from YouTube. Later, as a lead editor of Everyday Mathematics at UChicago STEM, she collaborated with researchers, educators, designers, and programmers on a variety of projects designed to foster digital literacy for young and adult learners. In her current role as the Research and Evaluation Manager at Global Nomads Group, a digital cultural exchange organization, she launched the Monitoring and Evaluation department that has since grown into a full-fledged research and development operation. She prides herself on examining how GNG can improve exchange opportunities, maximizing learning for young people and paving the way for cultural exchange to be considered a necessary part of anything that can be defined as quality education. Delna received her BA in Comparative Literature and Psychology from Barnard College, and her MA in International Education Policy Analysis from Stanford University.
