Professor at National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), India. My area of specialization is educational psychology, measurement and evaluation and key interest area is application of Item Response Theory. I have been involved in teaching, development, extension and research work for the last 20 years. I have planed and coordinated many projects. At present am coordinating the National Achievement Survey to find the learning levels of children in India. I also work as a resource person in the capacity building programmes in Educational Measurement and Evaluation.
