Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

For the past 20 years my career has spanned a wide range of senior education development, delivery and marketing roles focused on providing professional learning support to educators and trainers in the use of flexible online learning methods and strategies. These roles include project management and design of print and online learning resources, the development of online learning communities and the organisation of national conferences and international study tours. My experience also includes the development of functional specifications for learning management systems and web services, training needs analysis and procurement and evaluation of learning programs and resources for national and international clients. My goals are to apply this experience in supporting and encouraging the exploration, sharing and application of new technologies in education and training. The topic for my PhD research is: Diffusion and sustainability of elearning innovations in higher education teaching practice: More than the sum of its parts. My research seeks to answer the question: How can universities support the sustainable diffusion of proven elearning innovations that originate in higher education teaching practice? One of my other goals is that my research will also inspire further diffusion of elearning innovation research in schools and vocational education.
