Youth For Understanding is an international education non-profit that has been running homestay model exchanges for 67 years with a partner network of 56 countries. In 2016, we realized that through technology, we could extend that reach to even the most isolated voices by launching the virtual exchange initiative. Our program curriculum focuses on building global competencies and 21st century skills through online collaboration, story telling and project based learning to empower the next generation of global leaders by giving youth the knowledge and skills to address local, national and international issues, develop globally-minded solutions and make their ideas and voices heard. We are always looking to meet like minded youth organizations and schools to bring this groundbreaking opportunity to those they serve and continue the extension of our global reach.
