I work for CTAPIV in northern California which is a technology project funded through the California department of education. I saw your contribution to the pbwiki video on collaboration and then found the global education network. I am exploring collaborative tools and models that can be used for large scale research projects. I have recently started playing with PBwiki and with Facebook (I'm guessing Ning is similar to Facebook), and I am trying to decide which medium will be the most effective for working on large scale research projects (50 - 1000 researchers working together to do a single high-quality project). What suggestions do you have for me?
