Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I have extensive experience in developing online resources and in promoting e-learning. For example, one of my largest projects is the online course for ICT CPD for teachers across the UK (and the World) on the topic "High Interaction, Reflection and Peer Assessment Through Online Forums", published at: www.ictcpd4free.co.uk, accredited by NAACE and Teacher Development Agency, UK. I have shared other e-resources and Case studies via the International Professional Network for ICT in education: www.mirandanet.ac.uk. I was the Winner of JISC (UK) E-learning Award - Advanced Level for 2009. At the moment, I am leading action research projects for teachers in the International Community School - London and I am developing and facilitating the Online Community of Practice for Staff (based on Google Apps and "Course Director" Google App) in the Institute For Work Based Learning, Middlesex university, London.

  • Hi Katya, I will be in London for the google teachers academy the first week of April and would like to visit a tech savvy school in the area to share ideas. At least one other attendee at GTA has expressed an interest in doing the same. Is your school open on the first or second? Do you know of any schools in the area that are tech savvy and might be open?
