Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:
I am a certified International Educational Trainer/Consultant for the Center for Teacher Effectiveness – Time to Teach program, a Family Therapist and the Founder/Executive Director of The Zeal Foundation, Inc., an organization I founded to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adolescents and their families. Under my direction, the Foundation strives to bridge achievement gaps by improving the educational and social experiences of youth from marginalized and disenfranchised populations. I believe by reinstituting the ideology of “it takes a village to raise a child” the assets inherent to academic and social success can be reintroduced and become the foundational principles for developing youth and their families to promote health and success spiritually, academically, economically, personally and professionally. The overall objective of my vision is to educate, empower, coordinate, collaborate and connect communities in a way that brings about change for the better in and beyond our learning environments. It is my belief that joining GEC will be instrumental in helping me achieve these objectives.
