Margherita Berti is a doctoral student in the Second Language Acquisition and Teaching program at the University of Arizona. She earned her B.A. in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bergamo, Italy, and her M.A. in Linguistics and TESL at Indiana State University, where she also taught Spanish, Italian and ESL. Her main research interests are CALL, especially social networking sites, virtual reality and mobile technologies, open education, and materials development for language pedagogy.
